Any modification in a signed file except adding new signature and adjusting signatures, will cause invalidation of existed signatures or destroy of whole file structure. So do not worry about someone to modify the content of a signed file after your signing. I edit or view a file by an application. After the file is signed, can I use the same application to view the content of the signed file? By default, while opening a complex signed file( .wds file), MDSS client program will launch suitable application to open a copy of the Original File. Also, you can do this by hand by select "File > Extract Orginal File >Extract and Open Original File". Can I recover my original file from a signed file? You can only get a copy of original file from the signed file. To do that, select "File > Extract Original File > Extract and Save Original File". Why I can't pass net login? If you can confirm that you have inputted correct user name and password, the failing of net login may be caused by list reasons. 1. MDSS server does not opened or bad net connection. You should contact with administrator. 2. Your account had been suspended. You should contact with administrator. 3. There are too many wrong login (correct name but incorrect password) submit from your PC. When MDSS server receives many wrong login from same PC in a period, MDSS server will lock the account at this PC. You can login again after several hours or you can login at another PC, or, you can contact with administrator to unlock your account. Can I sign a file in another PC? You can if the file is shared to you. you can visit the file through Network Neighborhood. Can I sign file and verify signatures without connecting intranet? Yes, you can. see Local Key Sign and Users Certificates Manage.
