  • System Requirements

    OS

    Windows 2000 Professional/Server(SP4+),Windows XP Professional/Home (SP2),Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista.

    MS Office

    MDSS is not based on Microsoft Office. However, if MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project are installed on your computer, when signing MS Office document, the document can be displayed in MDSS main window, which bring a better user experience.

  • MDSS 4.X main parameter

    Maximal valid user amount: 5 for Free Edition. For formal edition, it is depends on software registration.

    Sign keys provided for each user: 100

    Times allowed for each user to change personal signature graphics[PSG]: 3

    Client number: no restriction

     

  • Installation

    1. Beginning

    Click "Install Client Program " to begin installation process.

     

    2. Decide installation Folder

    In this step, you will decide the location the software will be installed at. The default location is 'c:\Program Files\MDSS'. If you want to install the software at another location, click 'Change' button.

     

    3.Decide shortcut folder

    The shortcut folder will appears in Windows Start Menu.

     

    4. Install Java Runtime Environment (jre)

    In the installation process, you will see a screen for installing jre. If you aren't familiar with jre, just click 'Next' button. If jre setup program find repeated jres, it will show reminding message.

     

     

  • Startup MDSS Client for the first time

    1.Set parameters

    After installation, find in Windows Start Menu, click it to launch MDSS Client. Then click "Parameter" to open the "Parameter Setting" window. input correct Server IP, Main service port and Login service port. If you don't know correct parameters, please ask administrator.

     

     

    2. Enter main window of MDSS Client

    At beginning window, click "Local Pc" button. you will see main window of MDSS Client. Select "Help > User Manual", see "Quick Start" to know how to register a new account.
